Nigeria is becoming more secure by the day – Lai Mohammed

Nigeria is becoming a safer environment every day, according to Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture.

This, according to the minister, comes as a result of a succession of victories in the fight against Boko Haram, ISWAP, bandits, and other criminal groups, who spoke in Abuja on Monday, March 28.

According to him, the security forces have taken the fight to the bandits and have forced them to flee, with their ranks dwindling by the day.

"I am proud of our security forces, our uniformed men and women. Despite a slew of security issues, they're delivering on their promise.

Thousands of terrorists and their families are surrendering in droves as the terrorists and their camps are annihilated. The security forces' efficiency has been boosted by President Muhammadu Buhari's leadership and the armed forces' and their leadership's unshakable commitment," he said.
