Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa popularly known as Joeboy, a Nigerian Afropop singer, recently advised Nigerian schools to stop embarrassing students who can not pay their school fees.
This request was made during a one-on-one interview with Chude Jideonwo a renowned journalist and broadcaster, adding that they also need to stop flogging students for the same reason.
Joeboy in the interview recount how he was embarrassed and abused because he could not pay his school fees during his secondary school days.
He also said that he was known in the whole school as a student who could not pay his tuition.
He also lamented about the attitude of his classmate toward him one time in school when the school authority wants to punish those whose school fees are yet to be paid by their parents
According to the call crooner, those same people have been trying to reach him, but he keeps ignoring them
